High Visibility Clothing.

It´ s the standard that determines the requirements of high visibility garments in order to visually signal the presence of the user. The purpose of these clothing items is to offer the greatest visibility of the person in any light condition. Necessities related to colour and reflectability are included, as well as minimum areas or the layout of the different materials on the garments.

MARKING

• Next to the pictogram it´s necessary to indicate the number that indicates the class of the garment.

• The maximum number of washing cycles must be indicated not only on the label, but also in the user manual. This maximum number should refer to the material with the lowest level of washing performance.

 

 INFORMATION FOR THE USER

•  If the maximum number of washing cycles is included in this section, it must be followed by a sentence which specifies that it is not the only factor related to the durability of the garment.

•  If the maximum number of washes is not declared, it will be indicated that the garment has been tested to withstand 5 washes.
